Alexandria Library Reveals New Building Hours and Allows Fully Vaccinated Persons to Enter Facilities Mask-Free

Charles E. Beatley, Jr. Central Library is now open to the public and offering in-person service on Fridays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Limited reference services and no passport services will be available during these additional Friday hours due to Library staffing shortages.

Face masks are no longer required in Alexandria Library facilities for those persons who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Unvaccinated persons are strongly encouraged to continue to wear a face mask and to practice physical distancing while inside Library facilities.
