Morocco's ITF Presidency kicks-off

ITF Secretary-General Young Tae Kim met with Morocco's Minister of Equipment, Transport, Logistics and Water, Abdelkader Amara, in Rabat to mark the beginning of Morocco's Presidency of ITF. Mr Kim met local media, including an interview for Le Matin (see "Best of ITF in global media" below). The year-long term will be the first time an African member country holds the Presidency, culminating in the ITF 2022 Summit on "Transport for Inclusive Societies" held in Leipzig, Germany, from 18 to 20 May 2022. A toolkit for gender equality

Gender analysis is the first step towards achieving gender equality. Stable inland transport infrastructure investment

Investment in inland transport infrastructure as a percentage of the GDP remained stable at 0.7% in the OECD during 2019. Our latest Statistics Brief shows China continuing to lead with a 5.5% share and remaining among the fastest-growing countries for volume of inland transport infrastructure investment. Reshaping aviation post-Covid-19

New online resource for disabled drivers

Over one billion people live with some form of disability, but finding information about what is available to help them in different regions or countries can be difficult and sometimes impossible for those who need or want to travel by car. We teamed up with the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA) to offer a new website showing options for people with special needs in different countries. ITF attracts new corporate partners

Swedish micromobility pioneer Voi and Korean transport security technology firm AutoCrypt are the latest cutting-edge companies to join the ITF's Corporate Partnership Board (CPB). Voi will work on helping to make urban mobility more people-centric and on sustainability issues more broadly. AutoCrypt bring expertise in intelligent transport systems, digitalisation and safety. Interest in CPB membership is booming, so watch this space and learn more about our engagement with the private sector

Policy guidance to hit climate targets
|
|
ITF work forms part of the new International Programme for Action on Climate (IPAC) that supports countries’ efforts to attain the objectives of the Paris Agreement by evaluating policies to achieve net-zero GHG emissions by 2050. The tool leverages the OECD’s unique multidisciplinary and long-standing experience in evidence-based analysis. It builds on existing data and indicators, policy tools, advice and guidance developed by the OECD family. Find out more about IPAC
