Clean Air Day 2021

On the 17th June, inspired by Global Action Plan, over 350 events took place around the country, all with the same focus: local authorities, schools, business, news broadcasters raised awareness about the importance of clean air.

We joined this national effort, talking to 80+ citizens of the Square Mile who visited Clean Air Day stalls at St Bart’s Hospital and Aldgate Square. Particularly encouraging was the positive response from parents of students at the Aldgate School and the children’s talking of their Clean Air Day assembly while sporting ‘I am an air quality scientist’ stickers.

Please visit Global Action plans dedicated website for Clean Air and make use of the wealth of resources available:

Check out a display of all the children’s artwork depicting their air pollution busting superhero’s at London Met. Uni. Library Goulston St. (No. 16 on the Exhibition Map).

Three of these designs were made into 3D lanterns now on display at 1 Creechurch Place (No. 2 on the Exhibition map).
