The 130 year old winery of Maison Saint Aix is dedicated solely to producing benchmark, salmon pink rosé, which is enjoyed in many of the world’s top hotels and restaurants.

Nestled in the rolling Provence hills, the location benefits from cool nights, hot days and regular cooling Mistral winds; the perfect conditions for growing Grenache, Syrah & Cinsault, which make up the backbone of AIX Rosé.

This is one of my favourite Provencal Rosés and Summer wouldn't be complete without it.

The AIX is blessed with an abundance of fragrant and seductive strawberry, peach, and rosewater aromas. The palate is delicately elegant and silky textured. There’s a lovely purity to the fruit. Fresh strawberries and cream, then bright zesty clementine on the long finish. There’s a quiet sophistication to this that sets it apart from a lot of the competition.

Pale, shimmering orange. Bright and focused on the nose, displaying fresh red berry, nectarine and orange zest aromas, with floral and mineral overtones. Strawberry and nectarine flavors show good depth and a bracing jolt of juicy acidity. The floral note repeats on the lively finish, which lingers with very good tenacity. 2021-2024

Situated on a plateau at an altitude of 420m above sea level AIX is one of the largest domains in Coteaux d’Aix en Provence with over 75 hectares of vineyards planted with Grenache, Syrah and Cinsault. The AOP Coteaux d’Aix en Provence is the perfect region for harvesting these varieties thanks to the areas mineral rich soils and ideal elevation. This terroir combined with the warm days, cool nights and mistral winds create a fragrant and well balanced wine. AIX’s alluring salmon pink colour reveals a fresh and fragrant nose that is delicate yet youthful while the palate offers rich, fruity and spicy notes.
