We hope that everyone is enjoying the beautiful sunny, warm days. We want to share a couple of quick updates with you.
First, the third trimester report cards have been generated and can be viewed in Sycamore. Please take time to celebrate successes and discuss goals for the future with your children. These conversations hopefully include not only academic growth but also personal life skills such as Communicating You Matter in others and Helping Others succeed. Together we want to grow and learn in so many ways at NDA.
Second, the NWEA MAP assessment results have been sent to your home. Please keep in mind that this is one moment in time and a snapshot of your child’s learning. We again want to celebrate our success in growth (especially during this very unique year) and talk about challenges and opportunities moving forward.
Lastly, we have had a few questions from parents about the protocol for masks for the 2021-2022 school year. As of right now, our summer program protocol is that masks are optional (both indoors and outdoors). At this time, we expect to continue this protocol into the start of the new school year. We will continue to monitor the MDE and CDC guidelines as we get closer to fall.
We wish all of our NDA Dads a wonderful Father's Day this coming Sunday. Thank you for your continued support; we are so grateful for our amazing NDA community.

New Information
Graduation Photos
8th grade photos are now in the office. Please stop by to pick yours up during our summer office hours of Monday-Thursday, 9:00am-2:00pm.
Third Trimester Grades
Student grades are now ready in your family Sycamore account. Please note the school code is 2988. Grades for the 3rd trimester can be found in documents. You can hover over your student's photo and choose documents or go to the family menu item, select students, and then select your student and documents.
Lost Money
We found cash in with some donated uniforms and are hoping we can find the owner to determine the purpose of it. If you dropped off used uniforms at the end of the school year and included cash for something, please contact the office.
Excelsior Construction
Construction for the sidewalk on the south side of Excelsior has begun. Please note that there will be lane shifts and some single lane limitations. If you'd like to receive updates throughout the project, please visit http://minnetonkamn.gov/excelsiortrail.

Yearbooks
We have a limited number of yearbooks still available for sale. Yearbooks are $25 and will be sold on a first come first serve basis. Please contact the office if you would like one.
Gently Used Uniforms
Please consider donating uniforms and spirit wear that your child can no longer use. Families will be welcome to shop the used uniform room all summer long by appointment. Summer office hours are Monday-Thursday from 9:00am-2:00pm.
Supply Lists The school supply lists for fall are now on the parent resources page. Please note that we will not be ordering the supply kits this year.
Summer Events
We sure missed seeing everyone last summer and throughout this school year. We hope to connect our NDA families over the summer, so stay tuned to the Insight and watch for email invitations from your Good Shepherds. They will be arranging some outdoor playdates!
