SBSEF Announces New Freeride Program Director

We are excited to announce that Will Dujardin has been named the next SBSEF AltaBird Program Director. Will has spent the last decade leading the Freeride Team for Crested Butte Mountain Sports Team and has IFSA and US Ski & Snowboard coaching certifications. Will brings a great deal of experience and knowledge of the Freeride world and joins an already outstanding coaching staff with the SBSEF AltaBird Team.

A competitor himself for many years prior to making the transition to coaching Will knows the sport inside and out. Will brings his expertise to the AltaBird Team and will build on a great history and tradition of developing some of the world's best skiers and outstanding individuals. Will's passion for skiing and for Big Mountain and Freeride competition is evident, and the future is bright for the Freeride Team. Please join me in welcoming Will to the AltaBird family!

I am beyond excited to take on the Freeride Director position at the Snowbird Sports Education Foundation. I’ve grown to know the LCC as my second home over the past 13 years in Crested Butte, CO, whether coaching the Crested Butte Mountain Sports Team or competing at Snowbird and chasing pow. I am so grateful for the opportunity to carry on the Altabird legacy in the freeride community and I look forward to getting to know everybody and getting to work!

Registration for the 2021-22 season is set to open on July 1. We will send out an update to all teams: Alpine, Freeride, and Snowboard when your team is set to register.
Registration for our Alpine Mt. Hood August camp will be opening this week. Stay tuned.
