Featured Wellness Mini Grant

Signe Wetteland from Continuing and Professional Education used the funds from their Mini-Grant to hold a Walking Challenge. They created a map and "people" that symbolized their progress through the challenges!

Healthy Department Certification Applications are 0pen!

The Healthy Department Certification is designed to highlight those departments that are making strides toward practicing and promoting health and well-being in the workplace. The application focuses on eight areas of well-being and aims to start a conversation on where your department is doing well as well as highlight areas that have room for improvement. Completion of the Certification within the last 3 years is a pre-requisite for applying for a Wellness Ambassador Mini Grant. 
More information and a preview of questions can be found on our webpage here. The Certification can be completed through this Qualtrics link by Wednesday, September 22nd.

This summer is a time of change in our work and personal lives. How we deal with the transitions we find ourselves in, can make a big difference in our well-being.  Please join us for a three session series designed with information and experiential exercises to help you develop skills to support you in navigating the changes in your life.

Need a stretch break or a little muscle wake-up? Improve your overall health and well-being with short 4- to 15-minute guided stretching videos with the Healthy UC Davis WakeBreak program. Led by UC Living Fit Forever trainers, this program intends to reduce workplace injury and missed days at work for all staff, faculty and students.
