Our series of Take & Make events was so popular that we're expanding! Now our Take & Make is for all ages: adults, teens & kids! Once you have your supplies, visit the link we've included in your kit to watch a step-by-step instructional video. Crafts can be completed at your leisure--finish them right away or save them for a rainy day! There's no deadlines to meet & there's no sign up required to pick up a kit--just drop in, pick up, take it & make it! Registration is not required and won't reserve you a kit--pick up is first-come, first-served. But if you'd like to receive a reminder email, just sign up here. We'll send out a reminder a few days before our kits are released! Kits are made possible by the Friends of the James Blackstone Memorial Library.

Build Your Own Program:
A Community Service Opportunity

All Summer, By Appointment with the Teen Services Librarian

Is there a subject you’re passionate about? Whether it’s a new technology, a board game, or caring for your pet, if there’s a topic you care about, the library wants you to teach us. This summer, we’re encouraging you to become creators of information rather than just consumers. Partner with the teen librarian to complete a research project over the summer, which culminates in the creation of a video for the library’s YouTube Channel or a live virtual program for children or teens. To get ideas on similar projects, check out any of the “Lyman Hall Presents” programs the library is offering this summer, which were all created by teens like you! This program can be complete virtually at your own pace, but space is limited. Click here to sign up. If the event shows as full, sign up for the waiting list or email Miss Sarah today to snag the next available spot! (teens@blackstonelibrary.org)
