JUNK FLOWER SUCCESS!
On May 4th, School Council was happy to bring Rhonda Beckman from the The Clever Corvid Art and Art Workshops to our families virtually. She taught us many cool ways to make all kinds of different flowers from things you might just think of throwing away!

EDUCATION WEEK
May 3 - 7th was Education Week; RLMPS families showed our appreciation for our teachers and staff a little differently this year (thanks to Covid). School Council, on behalf of all families, presented each teacher and staff member with a tomato starter plant and note of thanks! Special thanks to Robyn Clayfield and Taryn McKean.

MISSED MATH NIGHT?
Feedback from families suggested there was interest in learning more about the new math curriculum. On May 12th, math leads from KPDSB presented to families in our region. A copy of that presentation is available here, for any that may have missed it.

Our 2021/2022 School Council is looking for new members. We meet monthly and focus on ways to engage all of our families in our school community, and support the Principal on providing parent input and feedback. If interested, please reach out to Mrs. Geary or any of our current members.
