The Big Skies Exhibition is a stunning collection of Rachel's work painted during lockdown. Armed with limited painting supplies, flask, sandwiches and camera, Rachel wandered her local coastline taking in the certainty and constance of the big beautiful sky during those uncertain times. Back in the studio, Rachel stretched linen and prepared her surfaces and began her Big Skies series.
The combination of the deserted North Norfolk coast and ever changing clouds and light created the perfect backdrop for Rachel. The results speak for themselves and we hope you will enjoy them as much as we do.
Sheffield born Rachel has been living in North Norfolk for over 20 years and now considers it her home. With her studio in Cley next the Sea, Rachel is an artist who paints what she sees; interpreting the subjects in her unique style.

The new Marsh Boardwalk from The Quay to Artemis Cafe is almost complete. This wonderful new walkway will help those walking the North Norfolk Coastal Path avoid Cley's busy High Street and us locals too! (Thank you Sophie from Artemis Cley for the gorgeous photo).
