Short deadlines

Alec Dickson Trust

Grants of up to £500 are available for volunteering projects led and run by young people (under 30 years old).  Projects will respond directly, or indirectly, to the pandemic and will improve the lives of others, particularly those marginalised by society.  The deadline for applications is Weds 23rd June.  For more information, please click the button below.    


 

Common Call Fund Two

Grants of £5,000 and £12,500 are available to Black-led charities and social enterprises, disproportionally affected by the pandemic.  The funding aims to help applicants to:

  • Be better informed about their options for new methods of delivery post coronavirus.

  • Develop new enterprising activities and income strategies.

  • Develop action plans for, and test the viability of, such activities

Windrush Community Fund

Grants of £2,500 -£25,000 are available for organisations who are raising awareness of the Windrush Scheme and / or the Windrush Compensation Scheme.  Applicants will aim to raise awareness of the schemes and reach communities and people who might have been affected by their inability to prove their lawful status in the UK.  The deadline for applications is Weds 30th June.  For more information, please click the button below. 


 

Naturesave Trust

Grants of £500 - £2,500 are available for projects dealing with specific environmental / conservation issues, or community renewable energy.  Applicants must have a website.  The deadline for applications is Weds 30th June.  For more information, please click the button. 


Hedley Foundation

Grants are available for small charities who address social need, and who work with:

  • Young people

  • The disabled

  • The terminally ill

  • Others in need

Return to Play Small Grants

Grants of between £300 - £10,000 are available to help activity and sport groups and organisations to meet the immediate challenges of people returning to play in a Covid safe way.  Priority will be shown to applicants based in areas of high deprivation, and / or who work with those most impacted by the pandemic.  The deadline for applications is Weds 30th June.  For more information, please click the button below.   


Kits 4 Kids

Grants of up to £750 are available for sports organisations to provide children with the equipment to take part in sports.   The deadline for applications is Weds 30th June.  For more information, please click the button below. 


NFU Mutual Community Giving Fund

Donations of up to £1,000 are available for community initiatives and charitable events in one of the following categories:

  • Connecting the community; reducing social isolation, providing opportunities, and encouraging resilience

  • Providing care and support to vulnerable members of our community

  • Relieving poverty; improving the health and wellbeing of our communities

  • Advancing education and experiences for young people

The fund aims to cover a specific cost such as a piece of equipment or something that will help people long-term, so that they can see the impact their donation has made.  The deadline for applications is Weds 30th June.  For more information, please click the button below.

Greening Our Communities

The Fund has been set up to support communities in Norfolk to take action to improve their local environment while providing people with the positive effects of being outside and connecting with nature.  The fund can also support energy efficiency/energy use reduction measures in community buildings.  The fund aims to award £45,000 per year in grants of between £500 and £5,000.  Applications must demonstrate that the funded project will lead to clear environmental benefits.  The deadline for information is Fri 2nd July.  For more information, please click the button below.


The Big Give Christmas Challenge

Invitations are sought for the Christmas Challenge 2021 match funding scheme.  Up to £25,000 is available per charity.  The Challenge is a weeklong match funding campaign launching on 30th November.  The deadline for applications is Fri 2nd July.  For more information, please click the button below.   


Places of Worship Protective Security Funding Scheme

Grants of up to £56,000 are available for projects that improve protective security measures to places of worship that have been, or are vulnerable to, hate crime targeting people because of their religion.  The deadline for applications is Sun 4th July.  For more information, please click the button below. 


The Tampon Tax Fund

Grants of over £350,000 are available for charitable organisations with projects (lasting between 12 – 18 months) supporting women and girls that either address violence against women or girls, or meet one of the priorities of the general programme, including:

  • Alcohol and drug abuse

  • Black, Asian, Minority and Ethnic groups services

  • Consequences of Covid-19 for disadvantaged women and girls

  • Education and employment

  • Engaging excluded and vulnerable women and girls through sport

  • Female offenders

  • Gender equality

  • Improving digital skills and knowledge

  • LGBTQI+ specific services

  • Tackling loneliness

  • Mental health

  • Multiple complex needs

  • Older women

  • Period poverty

  • Women and girls with disabilities

  • Women and girls with learning disabilities

National Churches Trust - Cornerstone Grants

Grants of £10,000 - £50,000 are available for conservation, repairs, and modernisation for churches.  Priority will be shown to urgent structural repair projects.  The deadline for applications is Mon 5th July.  For more information, please click the button below. 


 

Art Fund - Reimagine

Grants are available for arts organisations and projects to transform their activities, and develop their expertise, capacity, and connections within and beyond the arts sector.  Projects will focus on at least one of the following themes:

  • Collections

  • Digital

  • Engagement

  • Workforce

There are two levels of funding available:

  • Small grants - £5,000 - £15,000

  • Large grants - £15,000 - £50,000

British and Foreign School Society

Grants are available to registered charities with pilot projects that advance educational opportunities for vulnerable or deprived children and young people, in the UK and around the world. The Funding is available in two streams:

  • UK projects - £30,000 - £100,000 (for projects lasting one to five years).  Projects will improve the educational outcomes of life chances of young carers and care-experienced people under the age of 25. 

  • International projects - £5,000 - £60,000 (for projects lasting one to three years).  Projects will improve the quality, sustainability, and access to education for young people within international marginalised and deprived communities.

Boost Choose Now Change Lives Programme

Grants of £1,000 - £10,000 are available for community groups with projects that benefit local people, and / or make a change in their community.  The deadline for applications is Sun 18th July.  For more information, please click the button below. 


Steel Charitable Trust

Grants of £2,500 - £25,000 are available for charitable organisations working in the areas of arts and heritage, education, environment, health, or social and economic disadvantage.  Funding can be used for capital costs, specific projects, or research programmes.  The deadline for applications is Tues 20th July.  For more information, please click the button below. 


Urban Tree Challenge Fund

Grants of £10,000 - £30,000 are available for organisations to plant large and small trees in urban and peri-urban areas.  Payments will also contribute to the costs of weeding, watering, and checking trees.  The deadline for applications is Sun 25th July.  For more information, please click the button below. 


East Coast Community Fund

Grants are available for projects that benefit the coastal communities in North Norfolk (including parts of northwest Norfolk). Projects will aim to support the recovery from Covid-19.  Grants are available in two streams:

  • Small grants - £1,000 - £5,000.

  • Main grants - £5,001 - £50,000.

Youth Music Fund A

Grants of £2,000 - £30,000 are available for music making projects aimed at children and young people (aged 0 – 25) who are facing social, economic, or personal barriers.  Priority areas are:

  • Young people facing barriers

  • Organisations and the workforce

Co-op Community Dividend Fund

Grants of £100 - £5,000 are available for projects supporting access to food, health and wellbeing, inclusion, and the environment.  Applicants must be a member of Central England Co-op (Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire come under Co-op’s Central region).  The deadline for applications is Sat 31st July.  For more information, please click the button below. 


Volant Charitable Trust COVID-19 Response Fund

AHF Transforming Places Through Heritage

The following grants are available for projects that restore redundant or underused historic buildings in town centres:

  • Crowdfunding Challenge Grants – Up to £25,000 are available to match fund crowdfunding campaigns. 

  • Project Development Grants – Up to £100,000 are available to cover up to 90% of capital costs.

Austin and Hope Pilkington Trust

Invitation to Quote to provide Dementia Friendly Training to Improve Outdoor Access

Norfolk County Council wishes to enter a contract to provide training packages under 3 workstreams to provide access to outdoor activities to people with dementia. The purpose of the training package is to be a useful resource which addresses some of the barriers identified by unpaid carers of people living with dementia in Norfolk through the provision of high-quality information in an accessible format to both unpaid carers and those who provide outdoor leisure opportunities in Norfolk. Framework Agreement for Assessment, Therapy and Family Support Services

Norfolk Council Children's Services have established a Framework for the provision of Assessment, Therapy and Family Support services. Key Services/Provision areas in scope are detailed in the service specification, but we would expect Providers to be adaptable and flexible to develop Services/Provisions as required. This is the sixth time we are reopening this framework for new applications.


Information Advice and Advocacy Service

Please note that at this stage we are only seeking expression of interest and, as such, no documentation is available.
Good Information and advice is core to supporting people to remain as independent as possible which in turn helps people lead healthier and more independent lives. In Norfolk we commission a range of advice services that support a range of services delivered by third sector organisations through a partnership approach. The information, advice and advocacy contracts are approaching the final 12 months of their term and the Council are currently working with relevant stakeholders to scope the requirements for a new model of service delivery. Any future requirement may be split into separate lots based around specific service provision.

 

Application for Adult Residential and Nursing Care Framework

This is an application process for appointment to the Norfolk County Council Open Framework agreement for adult residential and nursing care homes. By signing up to the framework, providers are confirming that they want to work with Norfolk County Council on the terms stated in the agreement.  The Framework Agreement will last for five years with an option to extend by a further five years.   
    

 

Framework Agreement for Tutors to Children and Young People

Norfolk County Council wishes to procure an open framework with a range of providers delivering face to face and on-line tutorial services. The framework will be for 5 years, with the option to extend for up to a further 5 years, subject to agreement of Norfolk County Council with the service providers.     
 
         

Public Health Primary Care Contract

Applications are invited to deliver primary care services (formerly called local enhanced services), which have been divided into the following lots:              

  • Lot 1A – NHS Healthcheck Programme: the identification and invitation of the eligible population.             

  • Lot 1B – NHS Healthcheck Programme: delivery of the NHS Health Check (including Standard Operating Procedures).         

  • Lot 1C – NHS Healthcheck Programme: Community Records Update.             

  • Lot 2A – National Chlamydia Screening Programme, Emergency Hormone Contraception (EHC) and Pregnancy Testing.             

  • Lot 2B – Fitting and management of contraceptive implants and intrauterine devices (IUD) / Intrauterine Systems (IUS).             

  • Lot 3A – Stop Smoking service provision.             

  • Lot 3B – Supply of Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT).                

Providers can apply for one or any combination of Lots.
