The sprinkler system is being installed in the new unit 100 offices and during that process the fire alarm will be tested. The alarm will sound briefly for up to a few minutes at a time, and then be silenced. This may occur during the following times:
- Wednesday June 16th: 6pm - 9pm - The daycare will be testing their fire alarm system, alarm may sound for a few minutes
- Monday June 21st: 8am - 3pm - sprinkler construction to unit 100, alarm may sound briefly
- Tuesday June 22nd: 8am - 3pm - sprinkler construction to unit 100, alarm may sound briefly
Additionally, tomorrow, Wednesday June 16th, the domestic water will be down briefly from 10:15am to 10:45 am, as part of the Unit 100 construction. Water will be off for about 10 or 15 minutes. When it is turned back on, water pressure may be low for a few minutes and then will resume as normal.

As of Friday June 11th, Philadelphia has lifted it’s mask mandate. As so, 2424 Studios will follow the latest State and City guidelines and also lift the mask requirement for individuals who are fully vaccinated. Wearing a mask within the building will be on the honor system. Below is a short list of reasons to continue wearing a mask within the common spaces of the building. Within each tenant space, the individual tenant business may make a decision about their mask-wearing policy.
Wear a mask in the common spaces of the building if....
- You are unvaccinated or cannot be vaccinated (this judgement is on the honor system - proof will not be requested to enter)
- You are working in a healthcare or childcare setting
- You or someone in your immediate circle is feeling unwell or is symptomatic (please stay home and/or get tested for COVID-19 before returning to the workplace)
- You want to continue to wear a mask for any number of personal reasons
Please note that anyone who would like to continue to wear a mask in the halls and common spaces to protect themselves or others, is very welcome and encouraged to do so. The building has hallways and stair towers where it is not always possible to socially distance from others. Please be considerate of others by stepping aside to let others pass, giving space while having a discussion, and when in doubt, asking others if they prefer that you wear a mask during interactions.
The building will continue to be stocked with hand sanitizer and wipes. We will be updating the signage throughout to reflect the new guidelines.
