WC ARMCO PARK BOAT HOUSE IS OPEN
Warren County Armco Park has a 110-acre lake and an assortment of boating and fishing options available for your enjoyment. Rental choices include 2- and 4-seat John boats, 4-seat pontoon boats, row boats, canoes, kayaks, stand-up paddle boards, and 2-seat pedal boats. You can choose to rent equipment with or without an add-on fishing pass. Have your own boat or just want to go fishing from the bank? No problem! Just check in at the Boat House for the appropriate pass, and grab some snacks, bait, or cold drinks while you're there. More details can be found in the info guide. 
WHY DID THE SNAPPING TURTLE CROSS THE ROAD?

BIRD WEEK 
This week's theme is BIRDS! Follow us on Facebook for fun activities related to the weekly theme, and if you are tracking your children's time spent outdoors for the 100-Hours-Outside Challenge, make sure to mark off that you have done a bird activity to get a bonus entry for the grand prize drawing at the end of summer, a family canoe trip from Loveland Canoe and Kayak! Start this week's challenge by checking out the Ohio Division of Wildlife's Common Birds of Ohio field guide and see how many species you recognize from your own yard! ~Naturalist Shannon
SUMMER 2021 AT WARREN COUNTY PARK DISTRICT
We are excited to begin in-person programming this summer, and there is something for everyone! Numerous kids' programs including our popular Tech-Free Tuesdays, plus shopping in the park, a car show and MORE! Visit our WCPD Events page to learn more or download flyers on our Friends site.
HELP WATER NATIVE PLANTS AT WC ARMCO PARK
We were awarded dozens of native plant plugs through Project Wingspan. They were planted on 5/25/21, and we need help watering them daily through mid-July so they become well established! The Solar Pollinator Habitat is located at Warren Co. Armco Park, 1223 St. Rt. 741, Lebanon, OH 45036. Follow signs to the boat dock.

The Warren County Park District is now accepting applications for the following 2021 seasonal positions. (You must be 18 years of age or older to apply): 
  • Seasonal Customer Service Attendant
  • Seasonal Boathouse Attendant
  • Seasonal Softball Groundskeeper
  • Seasonal Golf Course Groundskeeper
  • Seasonal Park Groundskeeper
Job start dates vary by position. Job Descriptions and application are available on our park website or in the Warren County Armco Park Office Mon – Fri 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, located at 1223 N. SR 741. Lebanon, OH 45036. You can call the park office during those hours for more info: parks@co.warren.oh.us or 513-695-1109 (0). These positions are subject to a post-offer drug screen and background check (BCI). Warren County Park District is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
