Give before June 30 to make a tax deductible donation
and support the 1 in 4 Australians with liver disease.

Meet Sidney Vo, mother, and advocate. Her experience has galvanised her to speak out.

You may have heard Sidney Vo's story about the stigma and discrimination she has encountered while living with a liver condition.

Sidney appealed a Federal Government decision, based on her hepatitis B status, that would have meant that she and her 12-year-old son Billy had to leave Australia. Her case was widely publicised, including an online petition of over 30,000 signatures supporting her case.

Sidney states “It’s not fair for people like us to get discriminated against, it wasn’t our choice as we didn’t choose to have this disease - I call it an ailment- it’s not serious if we take care of it, and what we need is more people to take the test”.

Sidney is calling for more funding for education and research that finds ways to challenge stigma, change attitudes and change lives.

Your support of LiverWELL means we can continue to support Sidney and others like her.

Are you able to respond to Sidney's call for more funding with a donation before EOFY on June 30?
