Hayfever
“Keeping your toes tapping”

Hayfever has been in the Perth music scene now for over twenty-five years with regular performances at hotels, premier cabaret venues, country music clubs, weddings and private functions. The band includes four of Perth’s most experienced musician/vocalists who together have built up a significant repertoire of cover music that ranges from a modern waltz through to AC/DC.
Band members Toumi Belouardi, John Toothill, Stuart Bailey and John Smoker have collectively been associated with the music industry for many years, and together they play a wide variety of instruments including drums, bass guitar, acoustic and electric guitars, lap steel guitar, mandolin, and harmonica.
The band's trademark is its versatility, together with great musicianship and excellent vocal harmonies. Four lead vocalists combine to produce tight vocal harmonies, and play a variety of instruments. This, together with digitally programmed keyboards through a top quality PA system, creates a very full sound.
The band's repertoire covers country, country rock, and popular rock & roll music from the 1950s to the present day. Whether you want to jive, rock, bootscoot, waltz or chacha this band has you covered. From the music of Bill Hayley and Elvis to Stray Cats, The Eagles and Vince Gill to Brooks & Dunn, Alan Jackson, Lee Kernighan and Dwight Yoakam, The Beatles, Rolling Stones, and Kinks, to The Travelling Wilberries and Tom Petty, to the best of Oz music including Daddy Cool, Cold Chisel, Mondo Rock and AC/DC.
Hayfever is a versatile band that will have your toes tapping, your hands clapping, and your body moving in no time at all.
“When you hear these guys play you just have to get up and dance!!”
So if you're looking for a great band for your next function or party, call John on 0405 267 930 or email at jrtoothill@gmail.com to make a booking.
