MEETING DATE/TIME: June 1, 2021, 7:00 p.m.

MEETING LOCATION: Pat Cameron’s home, 31 Merrill Road, Goffstown

CALLED BY: Ray Chadwick, NHRC Vice Chairman Region 3 (Hillsborough County)

PURPOSE: Promote voting, Republican Values, Republican Candidates

REVIEW OF PREVIOUS MINUTES:

1. RNC voter list to identify registered Republicans that voted in last four (4) elections

2. Goffstown Republican voter list—2,000+ per Joe

3. GRC Checking account---set up; must have Pat & Jan signatures on all checks

4. Bring visibility to GRC via social media, newspapers, community activity---Jane Aitken has access

5. Speakers to present at GRC meetings---Bill to secure

6. Annual dues set at $15.00/person, $20.00/couple

AGENDA TOPICS:

1. Paypal for contributors.

1. Ray recommends leaving Paypal as is or Anedot (more gun-friendly than Paypal), vs. Joe’s recommendation to use WinRed (used by NHRC)

2. Need to track down who has control of Paypal. Treasurer should have control.

3. File with the Secretary of State by November re: contributors to committee

4. Need name, address, employer of any contributor of $100.00/year or more

5. Pat to contact Emily Sandblade & set-up Paypal

2. Increase visibility of GRC

1. Joe to speak with John Burke re: GTV, possibly interview reps and others to discuss key local issues.

2. Donna to contact Neighborhood News re: cost to add an insert

3. Send a postcard mailer to all registered Republicans. Joe has the list of about 2,000 Republican voters

4. Use Mail Chimp to manage list

5. Point Facebook page to GRC website

6. Use Eventbrite for ads, events & collect RSVPs

3. GRC BBQ Meet & Greet

1. Goal is to grow the GRC, gain support & get out the vote, targeting Republicans & Independents

2. Recruit members who would want to run locally (Budget Committee, School Board, etc)

3. Educate voters on the issues

4. Bring information & State Reps to speak

5. Get agenda out to all committee members about two (2) weeks in advance

6. Have membership sign-up slips with credit card info area to pay dues upon joining

7. Advertise BBQ on local radio, directing listeners to website with RSVP capability (Eventbrite??)

8. No charge to attend but donations are welcome

9. Ray recommended to speak to Goffstown Police Chief Sereno to alert him of the event…Joe to task

10. Date Set for Thursday, August 12, 2021 at 5:30 p.m. at Sheila Seidel’s, 71 Sage Court, Goffstown

6. Delegate jobs for the BBQ

7. Design flier for BBQ

NEXT MEETING LOCATION/DATE/TIME: Pat’s Home, Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at 7:00 p.m.

All future meetings of the GRC will be held on the 4^th Tuesday of each month unless informed otherwise

Meetings will be at Pat Cameron’s house for now.

A lot of discussion about email list:

• Find historical documents that exist for the Goffstown Republican Committee (GRC) (ie: finances, members, etc.) to see if people are interested in rejoining.

• Joe Alexander to find the Republican Voter list.

• RNC Voter list – Find registered Republicans that voted in the last 4 elections.

• Use Mail Chimp to manage.

Discussion regarding checking account:

• Tony will follow up with Emily (other signatory on checking account).

• Citizens has an account option that should have an account that has no monthly fee providing there is some activity.

Dues will be collected once a year and the amount will be $15.00/person.

Suggestion from Bill McFadden – have a 50/50 raffle to keep money flowing into checking acct.

*Raffles require a permit from the town.

Bring visibility to the GRC:

• Social Media – Patch, FaceBook

• News Papers – NH Journal, Granite State Tax Payer (I think)

• Community Involvement – Roadside cleanup

Website:

• Hillsborough County Republican Committee can help.

• NH Republican Committee (NHGOP.org) may also help.

• Jane Aitken may already have a website.

• Maya Harvey may be able to help also.

Speakers for meetings – Bill McFadden may be able to send some speakers our way.

Local 501c4s may be interested in sending speakers ie. Cornerstone for gun issues.

Next meeting will be 6/1/2021 at 7:00 PM at Pat Cameron’s house.
