Marking Bishop Nicholas's Retirement
Bishop Karen has written to the Diocese to outline farewells for Bishop Nicholas, giving details of how to donate to charity and send messages for the Bishop's card. Read More...
Sending Your Messages
It is less than three weeks until Bishop Nicholas retires after ten years' faithful service to us. If you would like your message to go in a card to be presented to Bishop Nicholas and his wife Helen, please email it to the Sherborne Office.
You can also leave a public message of thanks or farewell via our website by clicking here. All the messages will be given to the Bishop before he leaves, so he can read them at his leisure.

Grants for Church Buildings
The National Churches Trust offers Cornerstone Grants of between £10,000 and £50,000 towards the cost of major urgent structural repair and accessibility projects. Apply by 5th July! 
(Foundation Grants between £500 and £5,000 towards urgent maintenance works, small repairs and surveys are also available.)
Protect Duty for Churches
A government consultation is currently open on the proposed Protect Duty, intended to be part of the response to the threat from terrorism, particularly after the Manchester Arena Attack. It has become clear that it is important that churches, and those who speak for churches, respond to the consultation. Read more...
