Personnel Perspective's 2021 Preview Series:
Communicate for Success
Naturally North Bay Silver Sponsor Personnel Perspective is pleased to announce their newest training program series: Communicate for Success. Last year's preview series for Diversity and Inclusion was such a big success, we wanted to invite you to attend a preview to experience a short segment of three of the twelve sessions in this series.
”Oops! I did it again.” Most of us have experienced moments where we wish we had a do over because we may have said the wrong thing or found ourselves lost for words at a critical moment. Leaders influence others by their words and actions. Strong communication skills and the ability to tell compelling stories are critical in order to inspire others to follow the leader’s values and principles or close sales.
This series focuses on all forms of business communication for those in leadership, sales, and public speaking roles. To register for one or more of these sessions (free to Naturally North Bay members,) email us at info@personnelperspective.com. Let us know which session(s) you would like to attend and we will send you a confirmation email. Please note: we are limiting enrollment to the first 50 registrations.
June 24, 2021, via Zoom – 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. " The Speech"
|
This session is the first in our Communicate for Success series.
Leaders must have strong public speaking skills so that they can easily communicate the messages. As a leader when you speak you are telling others something that you think is important.
Session 1 focuses on how to present at a variety of large settings such as:
· Board meetings
· Leadership meetings
· All-hands meetings
· Keynote speeches
|
July 15, 2021, via Zoom – 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. "Standing in the Power of 'No' "
|
This session is the sixth in our Communicate for Success series.
Session 6 focuses on the importance of articulating needs, developing healthy boundaries, and delivering a firm “No” when communicating. Think of your yesses as a commodity—and when you are brave enough to say no, their value goes up. Saying yes means something. It's no longer just a passive answer. Even if a “maybe” is the best you can do, you have at least given yourself some time to put more thought into the decision. |
August 12, 2021, via Zoom – 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. "Communicating with a Diverse Audience"
|
This session is the seventh in our Communicate for Success series.
Session 7 focuses on how to communicate in ways that are inclusive of the diversity found within today’s workplace such as how gender, age, language, culture, and other factors influence communication and interactions.

COVID in the NOW Normal:
Vaccines, Variants & Virus Infection Rates
We all see the light at the end of the tunnel, but significant variables mean we’re not out of the woods yet. Local vaccination and infection rates are inconsistent across the US, COVID-19 variants continue to emerge and spread, and vaccine longevity isn’t entirely established. We must continue to mitigate risk to loved ones, employees, and communities—and ensure business continuity.
Now we’re “Testing for Negative”—focusing on prevention of infection and spread. In this webinar, Eurofins medical director Dr. Travis Wilkes will discuss testing options that can provide a safety net as we move through each new phase of the pandemic.
This webinar will cover:
- Why experts recommend we keep testing
- Testing programs that balance your budget with your goals
- Proactive solutions for early COVID-19 detection—before it spreads
- Answers to frequently asked questions
