Back to "normal?"

Should we go back to "normal?" What does that even mean? Was PDXWIT’s version of “normal” working? We're asking big questions around here as we transition out of the pandemic — and we want to hear from you, our beloved community, as we decide what the future of PDXWIT events will be.

Let us know what you think at our upcoming Community Forum on July 8th, or take our short survey. What do you want? What are your fears? Anything you feel we should know? We will do our absolute best to honor your feedback as we build out the future. Of course, if we try some things that don't work, we'll adjust. And no matter what in-person events end up looking like, we're committed to continuing to provide a virtual way for folks to tune in, participate, and stay connected.

Announcements

We are putting together an event related to accessibility in tech, moderated and led by people living with disabilities who are working or hoping to work in tech. If you're interested in speaking, let us know.

Our friends at MilkRun are providing PDXWIT community members (that’s you, reader!) 30% off their first two orders with code: WIT30.

Interested in a limited edition PDXWIT Pride shirt? Donate $25 or more during the month of June and we will send you one!

Mentorship Program Updates

We have a need for more mentors for our long form mentorship program - especially mentors that identify as a woman, femme, or non-binary. If you’ve got 3 - 5 years of experience or more in the tech industry, we’d love to have you join us!
