Hide and Seek Adventure Time!
Everybody loves a game of hide and seek. Why not use your amazing imagination to play with Jesus! Get comfy and relax, and invite Holy Spirit to be with you!
John 8:12 (NCV)
Jesus said “I am the light of the world. The person who follows me will never live in darkness but will have the light that gives life.”
Say slowly, with lots of pauses, keep it shorter for a younger child:
Thank you Holy Spirit that you love us. Help us to spend time with Jesus now!
Imagine you are playing a game of hide and seek with Jesus!
Where are you playing? Where do you hide?
What can you see, hear or feel around you? Try not to wriggle or giggle!
Jesus is looking for you...
He looks under, over, behind, in between… and finally He finds you!
Look at His face when He sees you!
He hugs you and tells you He loves you.
Now it is His turn to hide. Count to ten, then go and look for Jesus!
Where is He? What is He doing or saying or showing you?
Have fun playing with Him!
Share what you saw, heard or sensed, validating and celebrating all responses.
Jot down in an Adventure Book or special journal.
