New 1938 Hurricane Photos Now Available

the 1938 Hurricane struck.
In an effort to make the history of our town more accessible, the Blackstone Library recently debuted our brand new digital archives powered by Omeka. We launched with only a small sampling of materials and today we're thrilled to announce that our online collection has grown again! You can now browse a new section of photographs from the 1938 Hurricane. These photos cover the neighborhoods of Indian Neck, Haycock Point, Summer Island, and Hotchkiss Grove.
