Normalising Conversations about mental health: practical tools for managers
Tuesday 29th June
11am - 12.30pm
Following huge demand (and fantastic feedback) for this workshop at our conference in March, we are very pleased to welcome back Leigh Staunton and Astrid Copeland, Job Retention Specialists at Leeds Mind’s Workplace Leeds to facilitate this session.
'Wellness Action Plans' and the 'User Manual of Me' are two practical tools that can be used to:
help managers take a positive approach to supporting the wellbeing of their staff
help make conversations about wellbeing the norm, leading to improved awareness and reduced stigma around mental health at work
After introducing the tools we will discuss practical tips for how they can be implemented and used as a basis for effective conversations about wellbeing in a 1:1 context.
This workshop is open to all West Yorkshire employers, business owners and their staff. It is particularly aimed at managers.
The session will take place on Zoom and attendees will be emailed joining instructions prior to the event.
