Thank You for a Tremendous Year!
Thank you all so much for your support in completing our end of program survey! As an organization that believes deeply in continuous improvement, we greatly value your feedback you submitted throughout the year. It has helped us to understand what we are doing well and what areas we needed to focus on for improvement!
This year has been incredibly challenging and the work that you have done as educators was tremendous! We are so grateful for your partnership and wanted to share a few exciting highlights from our end of year survey with you:
- On average across admin's, coaches, and teachers, 74% of you agreed or strongly agreed that you are happy that your school is partnering with Cadence Learning! This is a 15% increase from the beginning of the year survey in September!
- We had such wonderful responses to highlight features of our program you loved including units being culturally responsive/having a diversity of perspective and experiences, lessons fostering engaging discussion about topics students, mentor teacher videos being extremely helpful, and enjoying the PD time with other teachers to learn and grow!
While we are so happy to see these responses, we know that we were far from perfect this year and that there is always room to continue to improve the quality of our materials and Professional Development each day. We also hear you about some pain points in the program:
- There could be more room for more practice problems and more opportunities for student practice.
- Pacing and lesson length! Ensuring that schools can keep up to the pace of the program/materials.
- More differentiation - how can we continue to support students across all access levels.
As we've previously mentioned, we have been especially focused on making our Summer 2021 offerings great. We hope that if you are partnering with us for our National Summer School Initiative this summer, that you are able to see our efforts in taking our programming to the next level! Your feedback has already helped us. Over the first three days of the NSSI Summer Institute, we are averaging a "strongly agree" (>4.5 on a 1-5 scale) for literature, math, and overall trainings. We are so thankful that your feedback helped us get better.
