Getting a 100 mile trail completed in 10 years takes some planning. F3ST knows that along with State Parks Trails Planner Smith Raynor. With both wanting a schedule of trail roll out, meetings were held March through June. Hike & Learn

To help F3ST members and the community learn about trail already on the ground, four events were held this Spring. More than just a hike and go home, attendees learned from local experts, got some exercise and experienced the local flavor and flair. Learn More

100 Mile Challenge

Get a t-shirt, bragging rights, membership & decal (if not already a member), mileage log chart and orange marker for a $100 donation. Eventually, the event will all be on the 100 mile Fonta Flora State Trail. Registration Extended Through June 25

New Trail Section

The next section of Fonta Flora State Trail that will be designated is in Old Fort. Thanks to Foothills Conservancy of North Carolina for acquiring the property and building the 3-mile trail between Camp Grier and Point Lookout.
