LAKES MANAGEMENT DISCUSSION WITH A.J. REYES FROM NEAR

Dear Neighbors,
Please join board members on June 24th, one week from today, to participate in a discussion led by our Lakes Manager A.J. Reyes from New England Aquatic Research (NEAR), an independent lakes management firm employed by the village for several years. A.J. has been invited to discuss the use of herbicides as part of a long-term program to eradicate the invasive aquatic weed Eurasian Watermilfoil in our three bodies of water.
The herbicide he will discuss is named ProcellaCOR, made for use in drinking reservoirs and approved by the NYS DEC and Federal EPA through a Special Aquatic Pesticide Permit. Last year we tested ProcellaCOR in Pond No. 3 with excellent results and without harming the good aquatic plants, fish, water quality as determined by NEAR's test results, and pets or people.
The discussion will begin promptly at 7:00 p.m. via Zoom with instructions to follow. There will be plenty of time for Q&A. All we ask is that you send your questions in advance to A.J. Reyes at ajreyes1022@gmail.com and CC: Elizabeth Doherty, Village Clerk at edoherty@tuxedopark-ny.gov on your email.
