Cherry Steppers News 📢

It has been one busy term! SO many new dances taught to all classes in the last few weeks I can't keep track of them all.

2 more weeks left of dancing before we break for the school holidays. Day classes will have 2 weeks off, returning July 20, and my night classes will just get 1 week break. There will be no night class on both Tuesday July 6 and Thursday July 8.

And then (BIG news) we are moving from Loftus Centre! From Term 3 our day classes have an exciting new home - Mt Hawthorn Main Hall - more details below

Coming to WA in November is Dance Fusion weekend! I have heard this is an event not to miss 🥳 (I know a few of you have already secured a spot!!) This year sees famous line dance faces, including Maddison Glover and Simon Ward, coming out West! I've got my ticket 🙌 We haven't been able to go anywhere for a while now so think of it as a well deserved trip away... without the cost of an airfare. Poster and contact details further on in this newsletter.

We are on the move!

We will no longer be able to have our booking in the Loftus Centre in 2022 as we are getting kicked out for a bigger booking. We have managed to secure a venue around the corner and at the exact same times so our new venue from NEXT TERM for our day class will be

Mount Hawthorn Main Hall (map)
197 Scarborough Beach Rd, Mount Hawthorn WA 6016

This new location is a quick drive from our current location at the Loftus Recreation Centre. Parking around the area is free and close to the hall.

I know that our catch ups are equally as important as our dancing sometimes so we have you covered for that too!! Casa Bianchi next door to the Mount Hawthorn Main Hall will be our go to for coffees (and maybe a sneaky lunch every so often) on a Wednesday. On a Tuesday there is the Leaf & Bean café just up the road (a short walk) or there is a huge number of other cafes in the main strip of Mount Hawthorn further up Scarborough Beach Road.

I am really excited about our new location and the possibilities it will open up for us.

So remember to add it in your diary; dancing starts at Mount Hawthorn on Tuesday July 20 (after the 2 week school holiday break!)

Hello Cherry Blossoms,

What a fabulous term we have had with many new faces in our classes. Sooo many fabulous new dances to keep our bodies and brains activated and hopefully young.

Next term we will be having a lunch get together after the Tuesday classes as well as the Wednesday classes. Yes!!! I know!!! A long girls lunch 2 days a week. It will be fun.

During the holiday break, we have 1 long girls lunch at Chez Pierre in Nedlands and this holiday is no different. Anyone wishing to attend needs to confirm via email to me. Wednesday, 7th July at 12ish is the day of extraordinary food, wine and most importantly, fabulous company. Anyone who has attended in the past few years, will tell you how much joy it brings to the taste buds. I personally love the release of endorphins that comes from having so much fun with like minded ladies. I'm all about fun!!!!! Please join me.
