Kind Story

10 year old Lilly from Warwick has received an award for her kindness to dogs! Lilly began using her pocket money to bake dog biscuits for a charity called Dogbus, after hearing about its work rescuing dogs and puppies. She sold more than 60 bags of treats, raising £220.

Dogbus was so grateful and even named a dog after her! Lilly has since received the Little Sunshine Award from Morrison's supermarket, which recognises those in the community who have gone above and beyond to help others.

Well done Lilly!

Show & Tell

Children in our School Kindness Workshops made lots of kind cards for a lady called Cath, who hasn't been very well recently. Cath received all of the cards this week and she absolutely LOVED them! They really lifted her spirits. Thank you so much to all the schools and children involved.

Self-Kindness Tip

When you take the time to notice the little insects around you this week, you will actually be being kind to your mind! We are often thinking about something other than what we're doing - but it's really good to spend time in the present moment and pay attention to what's going on around us right now. It can helps us feel calm and happy.
