TWO WORLD VIEWS IN CONFLICT
July 18th & 25TH

In a sermon entitled “Biblical Justice vs Social Justice” Pastor Voddie Baucham explains the two sides that are contending for the soul of the Church.

These two sides are competing worldviews on justice. One side is the Biblical worldview of social justice. The contending worldview at the heart of the war is “Critical Social Justice”.

If you would like to understand what is going on so that you can be better equipped to be the salt and light, come to the optional two part Sunday School class July 18th and 25th, in the Fellowship Hall. This is a video series recorded by Voddie Baucham.

hISTORY CORNER

Now on display in the History Corner of the Gathering Place!

Photos showing and explaining the removal of the steeple in 1968. A crane removed the old steeple, which was found to have lots of rotten wood after years of exposure. It was placed on the vacant land in front of the Chapel. It remained there until Oct. 1969 while work was done to fashion a new one, using the old pieces as a pattern. An interesting part of the history of our church building, which was constructed in 1858.

Make sure to step in the Gathering Place! Display was created by our church historian, Harriet Comer. Thank you Mrs. Harriet!
