Town of Cambridge selected to participate in Small Business Friendly Approvals Program

The Town of Cambridge is excited to announce its participation in the Small Business Friendly Approvals Program. The program, led by the Small Business Development Corporation (SBDC), aims to streamline the process of obtaining business licences and trading permits and improve the overall experience of business customers at a local level.

The Town was selected through a competitive expression of interest assessment process to embark on the Small Business Friendly Approvals Program in July 2021. The initiative is funded by the State Government.

As part of the program, the Town is seeking input from businesses who have experienced difficulties in obtaining licences, permits or other approvals from the Town of Cambridge. The input of businesses will be vital to ensure the program focuses on the challenges experienced by local businesses.
