Check out all the goings-on this week at City Church, including a special visit by Congresswoman Doris Matsui.
City Church Friends and Family,
As pastor, one of the things I enjoy doing is having table fellowship with new attenders and sharing our City Church story, (literally) from garage to grace. I was reminded of God's incredible grace last week with the current transformation of the exterior of our building. One of the painters asked, "how long has it been since it was last painted?" I said that I wasn't sure but my guess was between 30 and 40 years. That would be about the time I was finishing up undergraduate studies and beginning life. What's even more amazing is that most of us that call City Church home were either in diapers or yet to be born. It's amazing that God knew, long before we knew, that in July of 2021 we would witness new life being breathed into a building in North Oak Park. I find this incredibly amazing. Amazing grace!
Thank you for your continued prayers, love and support. I look forward to worshipping with everyone this Sunday, in-person and on Facebook LIVE.
Gloria Dei!
