Welcome!

We have somehow made it to July and thankfully this July is so much different than the last.  As things start to change, slowly open up and return to a new normal, the question is how are you?  We see a mix of parents so happy to be in a more open community with others, to reunite, hug, smile and laugh up close again. Parents have shared how different time with their family looks now compared to pre-pandemic.  While teaching a class for second time moms in early March of 2020 and discussing the possible closing of schools and offices for two weeks a mother jokingly said, “I will die if I have to have my toddler and husband home for two weeks!”  Now coming out the other side of a dreaded two weeks turned into 12 months plus people have learned lessons from enduring something that was unimaginable to most of us.  We are including an article on lessons learned from pandemic parenting.  We imagine many of these lessons will be relatable to most of you. The article also points out how not all family pandemic experiences have been positive and the real need for self-care.  As restrictions start to lift many parents feel burnt out, anxious or depressed.  Self-care is really important during this time.  We wanted to share some mental health resources for this time.  Feel free to reach out to us if you need help navigating or finding more support.
