ICYMI: Environment & Equity with
Prof. Muhammad Unus  (Impact Hub Global)
"Before the pandemic we were on a high-speed train, rushing to our successes. Now that the train has stopped, should we go back and go in the same direction? We now have the possibility to take a new train in a new direction."
During Impact Hub's 2021 Maker's Fest, Professor Muhammad Yunus and Gabriela Gandel discuss environment and equity: how do they intersect and what can we do more as changemakers?

Baltimore's own Jamye Wooten of CLLCTIVLY spoke later that day at the Maker's Fest. Our team is proud that we were able to elevate one of Baltimore's top leaders in microfinance on the same line-up as a Nobel Prize winner in the field. Watch the video, read this blogpost, and get inspired.

Accepting Applications - The Community Infrastructure Fund for Mutual Aid (Omidyar Network)
As the pandemic has rapidly increased the needs of communities, Omidyar Network has created a fund for US “mutual aid infrastructure” — the resources and tools supporting systems in which people and communities voluntarily care for one another for their mutual benefit. The network is joined by Art in Praxis consultants Jess Solomon and Richael Faithful to steward the fund. Created as a way to learn through supporting and consulting with organizations on the frontlines, the fund is an experimental program into mutual aid.

Focused on US mutual aid projects and organizations led by BIPOC and marginalized groups, the fund will support the development of mutual aid infrastructure - resources, tools, and people who uphold communities. Learn more and submit your application by Thursday, July 15 below!
