There was great news in the UK, for England and Wales, last Monday, as two proposed amendments to the ‘Police, Crime Sentencing and Courts Bill’, which had been tabled in parliament recently, by Diana Johnson MP and Rupa Huq MP, have been decisively defeated, marking a major pro-life victory.
Please pray for Diana Johnson, Rupa Huq, and all abortion supporting politicians, that they may receive the grace to have their eyes opened to the horror of the culture of death, and be saved by Our Lord into His Holy Church and, thereafter, life eternal.
Coming around a month after the permanent closure of Marie Stopes House, on Whitfield St, London (the first Marie Stopes Int abortion camp in the world), this gives us such lively hope now, that hearts and minds are being turned towards the truth, and that there are definite victories being won, over the culture of death.
Let us, in the first place, thank Our Blessed Mother of Life; Her Spouse Most Chaste, St Joseph, our spiritual father; and all the angels and saints, for interceding for us to The Lord, and obtaining, for us all, the graces needed to turn men’s minds away from sin and death, and towards God and life. Without the help of Our Blessed Parents, and all the saints’ heavenly assistance, in our darkest hours of need, we surely would not be witnessing these victories which have come in such quick succession.

This month of July, is the month of the Most Precious Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ; the Price of our Salvation and the Stream of Mercy. In all confidence, hope, and faith, never should we despair in the midst of sorrow, or be found lacking in trust, in the power of the Most Precious Blood of Christ.
It is by the Precious Blood of the Agnus Dei, that all our sins have been atoned for, so that – by the merits of His Passion and Cross – being incorporated into His Mystical Body, we may share in the same glorious resurrection as Our Head, and be made co-heirs of His Eternal Kingdom of Heaven.
Our Blessed Mother, is the Queen of Martyrs, and as Our Lord’s Most Precious Blood was taken from Her own most venerable body (now eternally glorious in Heaven), we can only try to fathom the degree of suffering which Our Blessed Mother, from the foot of The Cross, both corporally and mystically, has offered to The Father for us, that in union with the shedding of the Most Precious Blood of Her Son, we may be saved from eternal death, and redeemed into eternal life.
When we understand that the sacrifice of Our Blessed Mother, offering the Precious Blood of Her Beloved Son, to The Father – together with the dry martyrdom of the saints (including St John the Evangelist and St Mary Magdalene, who stood by Our Lady of Sorrows, at The Cross), as well as the shedding of the blood of the Blessed Martyrs: including St John the Baptist, St Peter, St Paul, St Andrew, St Maria Goretti (whose feast it is, on the day of writing), and the Holy Innocents – in union with the crosses and sorrows of all the saints, have all been united and offered with Our Lord’s Passion and Cross, we can, perhaps, begin to comprehend the price of the salvation of souls, from the fires of hell.
Innocent unborn children are being slaughtered each day, by the thousands, across the world. It is only by the grace of The Lord’s unfathomable Divine Mercy, through the Immaculate Heart of Our Mother, the Mediatrix of all Grace, that these poor, unbaptised souls may be made worthy of Heaven. It is The Church’s doctrine, pronounced, ex cathedra, in statements made by several popes, as well as by the saints and doctors of the Church, that outside of Baptism and being incorporated into The Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church, under the visible headship of the Holy Roman Pontiff, there is no salvation at all.
“We are compelled in virtue of our faith to believe and maintain that there is only One Holy Catholic Church, and that One is apostolic. This we firmly believe and profess without qualification. Outside this Church there is no salvation and no remission of sins.” [Unam Sanctam, Papal Bull in 1302 by Pope St Boniface VIII]
So, we should continue to, fervently and piously, pray The Rosary, at least daily, and pray by our partaking in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, as often as possible, for the end to abortion, the culture of death, and the salvation of all souls afflicted by it and partaking in it.
It would be complacent and presumptuous to take for granted that the souls of the unborn make it to Heaven. It is by God’s grace alone that we are made worthy of Heaven, and we should never discount how much each eternal soul stands in need of the intercession of Our Holy Mother and all the angels and saints in Heaven, as well as the supplication and sacrifice of our brothers in Christ on earth, to make it there, in The Lord’s Mercy.
Therefore, we cannot be idle, when the souls of those who, having been deceived by Satan, partake in the culture of death, need our prayers and penance, to obtain The Lord’s grace.
The conversion of each soul, of the participants in the culture of death, is instrumental in the saving of human life and the salvation of souls – be they the souls of the unborn, their parents, their siblings, the abortionists and abortion advocates, or even those who are ignorant to this universal spiritual war.
Having celebrated the feast of St Maria Goretti, Virgin and Martyr, let us ask for her intercession, with Our Mother Most Pure, so that the grace of the virtue of chastity, as well as that highest of all virtues, charity, may be granted through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Our Mother, to the people throughout the world who are enslaved to lust, and sin in general.
By these two beautiful virtues, can abortion, contraception and euthanasia be brought to an end. We must believe, in all hope and faith, that in charity, that most chaste and selfless divine love, which only by grace alone can we share in, may bring about an end to the culture of death.
In this Year of St Joseph, let us, through the intercession of the Most Chaste Heart of the pure spouse of Our Mother, and the Virginal Father of Our Redeemer; with Our Mother Most Pure; and St Maria Goretti, patroness of purity, beseech The Holy Spirit to grant the grace of the virtues of chastity, purity, and charity to all children of God, all parents of unborn children, and all those burdened by sin and the culture of death, who are in most need of The Lord’s sanctifying grace.
By our confident praying of The Holy Rosary, and the grace of The Lord obtained from it, Our Blessed Mother will bring an end to the culture of death.

Join us either in person, from 12 noon with The Angelus, on Monday 12th July (joining details at the head of the email), or at Mass at your local parish church, in front of Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament, or praying The Rosary, from wherever you may be.
We are all children of Our God and Our Blessed Mother; let us console them and make reparation for the sin of abortion and all other sins, and obtain the graces needed in our time, on our knees, praying The Holy Rosary.
Increase your general efforts for prayer and penance, in this period following the gift of the Holy Ghost, at Pentecost. The victory is ours, by the Grace of Our Merciful God, but we have to persevere in this war, to the end, to assist in accomplishing what Our Blessed Mother prophesied.
Pray for us O Holy Mother of God, that we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.
