KC Streetcar Service Extended For Holiday Weekend

KC STREETCAR TO EXTEND SERVICE FOR JULY FOURTH WEEKEND
(Kansas City, Missouri) – The KC Streetcar will add service and hours to operations this holiday weekend.

The KC Streetcar will extend service this weekend in anticipation of the planned downtown activities for the July Fourth holiday weekend. Downtown Kansas City will be the place to be for many activities including the Stars and Stripes Picnic at the National World War I Museum and Memorial July 3, KC RiverFest at Berkley Riverfront Park July 4, and the USA Volleyball Boys Jr National Championship, which is being held in Kansas City for the first time. 

The KC Streetcar will operate with the following hours and service levels:
  • Saturday July 3: 7 a.m. to midnight with four Streetcar service running from 4 p.m. to midnight.
  • Sunday July 4: 7 a.m. to midnight with four Streetcar service running from 4 p.m. to midnight.
  • Monday July 5: 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. (Holiday/Sunday schedule)
According to Federal Transportation Security Administration (TSA) guidelines, face masks are still required when riding the KC Streetcar. Any changes in service and operations will be communicated electronically through the KC Streetcar
