Tēnā koutou,

It was great to see our students participating in the cross country today. A big thanks to Andrew Hollander for allowing us to use their property for the cross country again this year. A special mention to home and school for the hot milos that they provided for students once they completed their races. They were very much appreciated.

Next Wednesday the 7th of July we will be hosting a Matariki celebration evening for students, staff, caregivers, and the wider school community. The celebrations will start at 5 pm with games and activities in the gym for children, and a Zones of Regulation® presentation for caregivers in the hall. This will be followed by kai (food) at 5:30 pm in the food room. I really enjoy these social evenings with the school community and I look forward to catching up with you on the night.

There is only one more week of school until the mid-year break. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the students, teachers, support staff and the board for their hard work this term. It is never easy when a new principal starts at a school and I thank you all for your patience and support as I have transitioned into the role.

Ngā mihi nui,

Glenys
