We hope this newsflash finds you and your family well.
 
Needless to say the last two years has been incredibly challenging. No clients, no hunting, no income.
But all said – we still have a lot to be grateful for – for we are still fully operational.
And alive.
There are many outfitters, guides, scouts professional hunters out there that have literally “lost it all”.
 
After Covid we immediately shifted our focus, adapted our target market and luckily our many loyal local hunters we have been looking at through the years came to our rescue in numbers!
 
I’d like to share three events with you for which I am particularly proud of, as well as some pictures of these events.

We are looking forward to see you again and catch up!

• Total area under roof 1 000 000 sqf. (120 x 85 meters)
• Floor 8 inches thick.
• Solar system producing 163 Kw through 364 solar panels.
• The fully automated “Aweta” sorting system takes 12 pictures of every single fruit, checks the weight, diameter, colour etc  before deciding where it should go.
• Capacity approx 1.2 million citrus cartons per year.

• Due to Covid some great deals were on offer – especially now that lion hunting is going to be shut down.
• I decided to do the hunt with my 70 pound Matthews XT bow.
• She killed a wildebeest Wed night and then disappeared.
• Sat afternoon we found tracks again. Sun morning we followed tracks for 2 hours, and basically surprised her on top of warthog she just caught!
• I killed the very badly mauled hog with my bow – and followed her tracks for another 3 hours.
• She ambushed us as we caught up with her, she was only 19 yards away – on number 99 ready to charge!
• I managed to give her a perfect shot in the chest.
• She jumped and turned high in the air, growled and as she hit the ground immediately charged. She was mad!
• At 9 yards both my hunting buddies , managed to turn her with shots that nearly missed her completely!
• All above happened in milli split seconds!
• She ran off, and transpired under a thick bush.
