June Meeting Highlights:

Hastings Mayor Nicola Armacost was our guest speaker. The Mayor shared many village updates including:

• Several new businesses: Fashion without Trashin, HOM, Hastings House is still in process

• Farmers Market has thrived, Hastings Flea has reopened, Boro6 will begin operating hot dog stand

• Summer concert series July 13, July 20, July 27 at MacEchron Park and Sunday Jazz at VFW plaza. See Destination Hastings for details.

• Awarded CDBG grant, $300k infrastructure

• 75% vaccination rate in Hastings

Shari Rosen Ascher, Director of Policy and Programs for Small Business and the Chambers of Commerce for Westchester County, reminded us about vaccine clinic every Friday at Westchester Health Department. Don't forget to check out Westchester Catalyst for economic development programs, such as Launch 1000 to jump start your business.

Michelle Adams, Chamber President,updated us on the chamber's first TAP Pivot Session awards. She also announced our two new. part-time staff: Fabienne Beard-Wright will be the Chamber Administration Manager (in addition to her Membership Committee Chair board role) and Nicholas Tarricone will be the Marketing and Membership Director. Welcome!
