Church Office Closed Monday
The church office will be closed Monday, July 5 in observance of Independence Day and will reopen Tuesday, July 6 at 9:00 am.
July Newsletter Clarification
There is an error in the July newsletter. The Family Pool + Picnic date is correct (8/8/21). However, the 8th is a Sunday, not a Saturday.

Hot dogs, brats, bottled water, and table settings will be provided.
Bring a side dish or dessert if you are able.

Family Fun Day:
Saturday, July 17
Plan to join us for Family Fun Day on Saturday, July 17 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Come for sprinklers, a slip-and-slide, crafts, and food! The event will be held at 1360 Center Lane Drive.
Ice Cream Social:
Sunday, July 25
Deacons will host an ice cream social after worship on Sunday, July 25 in the lounge. Plan to stay for ice cream sundaes and fellowship!

Cookies for Guests:
To extend hospitality to the AA GROUP meeting in our fellowship hall on Tuesday evenings, we are supplying cookies on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month. Upcoming dates needing filled include 7/27, 8/10, and 8/24. There are approximately 10-15 in attendance each week. Cookies need to be delivered to the church by 3:30 pm. Contact Barb Latham to schedule to help: 419-651-3559.
Deacon Ministry: Deacons are available to help church members with practical needs, including mulch-laying and weeding, disposing of unwanted items, and basic home help. Contact the church office to make a request: 419-289-6205 or office@ashlandfpc.org. Deacons will then be contacted with the request and provide assistance. The group is open to other suggestions based on the needs of our congregation. Please reach out!
Jeans and Sneakers:
Jeans are the most needed back-to-school clothing item, especially sizes 6-14 for both girls and boys. Evangelism and Outreach will match each new pair of jeans brought to the church for ASSOCIATED CHARITIES.
Save your sneakers for a fundraiser to benefit CASA (COURT APPOINTED SPECIAL ADVOCATES). No matter how worn out, bring worn athletic shoes to the church office!
