We're half way through the summer. Staff numbers are below expectations...but then, Gideon's army size we reduced drastically to the point he probably thought it would be a suicide mission! God had a plan that was outside Gideon's frame of thinking! This is the first time that there are no summer staff for maintenance, sanitation, kitchen, etc. We're still doing videos (click for sample) every day, but when we saw the trash piling up, we realized our truck was perfect for the 3x daily runs to the dumpster!
We hear repeatedly ... "Doe River Gorge is life-changing!" The power of God's word continues to reach kids where they are and give hope and strength in the midst of a culture that is increasingly opposed and hostile to Biblical truth.
