Dear Neighbors,
Happy 4th of July!
Our community has strong protection against COVID-19, including the Delta variant, thanks to the high vaccination rates in Santa Clara County.
While we recognize that masks are effective in reducing transmission and are especially valuable in crowded, poorly ventilated indoor spaces, at this time, we are not re-imposing a community-wide masking requirement at this time.
Nevertheless, the County is closely tracking the Delta variant, as we do all variants of concern. The latest information about variants in Santa Clara County can be found here, and is updated every Thursday.
To keep those you visit this weekend safe, the County continues to recommend the following:
- Get vaccinated if you have not already
- Please note that the Aloha Roller Rink and Mexican Heritage Plaza are no longer providing vaccines. But, we do have more than 200 other vaccine sites! Visit www.sccFreeVax.org for more info
- Engage in outdoor activities whenever possible
- Avoid travel if you’re not fully vaccinated
- Continue to regularly test for COVID-19 if you’re not fully vaccinated
- Even if you are fully vaccinated, get tested immediately if you have COVID-19 symptoms
Fire safety and food safety may be important to consider for this weekend as well.
We've also announced the winners of 2 FREE tickets to see (or receive autographed items from) The Golden State Warriors, Alejandro Fernández, Marc Anthony or Trevor Noah. Winning numbers can be found here.
Missed your chance? No worries. We’re having new raffles every week through the end of July. Find our raffle schedule at www.sccFreeVax.org. Below are details for this upcoming week's raffle:

Together in health,
County of Santa Clara
