Commission News
While the Historical Commission does not hold meetings over the summer, we are still hard at work preparing the Richard Wall House for our grand re-opening this fall! A lot has to be done to clean and prepare the building and grounds. While great progress was made, there is always more work to do.
These efforts are in addition to the Old York Road Garden Club's excellent work on the herb garden.
Special thanks to Dr. Thomas Wieckowski, Marshall Fleisher, Geoffrey, Karen and Olivia Shulik, Timothy and Harrison Esposito, Liza Meiris, Steve and David Conrad, and Brian Hinson for donating their time and energy to cleaning up the property.
There are still other gardens that need attention, as well as rooms inside the Wall House. If you would like to volunteer your time to help prepare the house and grounds, please contact historicalcommission@cheltenham-township.org.
