Council raises drug concerns with police

The issue of alleged drug-dealing in the Knighton Lane car park in Buckhurst Hill has been raised with local police officers by Buckhurst Hill Parish Council.

Councillor Gavin Chambers told Thursday's parish council meeting he hoped there would now be more police patrols in the area after he was alerted to the problem which allegedly took place at about 5pm last Sunday.

Council chairman Stephen Neville said he had been told that photographic evidence had been reported surrounding a similar issue in Hornbeam Close.
