Shaping futures
Careers advice in Liverpool City region
Liverpool City Region Combined Authority are running a survey to inform a redesign of the Be More website, which provides apprentisceships and skills. They need help getting the survey to the people the site most benefits/affects. Can you share this with the young people and other interested parties in your networks?
Providing access to a job, training or an apprenticeship opportunity for every young person under-25 (and out of work for more than six months) is a key commitment in the Metro Mayor, Steve Rotheram’s manifesto. Be More should play a key role in helping to achieve this goal. The site will be extensively redesigned, so they are keen to hear from young people about what would help. They also want to gear from their parents, people who work with young people and others looking for a change in career or career advice, to shape the future of this vital online resource.
The survey is here. Please share it with any young people you might work with, schools, colleges, partners, or anyone looking for career/apprenticeship advice and opportunities. On average, it takes less than 15 minutes to complete. It will be open until midday, Mon 5 July 2021. Individuals that complete it also have the chance to win one of three £25 LovetoShop vouchers. If you have any questions at all, please just let us know at education@liverpoolcityregion-ca.gov.uk.
