Welcome, Natalie Clausen, M.S., CCC-SLP!

Natalie Clausen was born and raised in northwest Indiana. She studied at the University of Arizona to earn her undergraduate degree in Speech & Hearing Sciences and her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology. Natalie has worked in schools, adult rehabilitation, and pediatric private practice. Her primary focus has been with the preschool-aged population following their transition from the Arizona Early Intervention Program (AzEIP) into the school system. She provides speech and language services to children of all ages and for a range of communication disorders. Natalie holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She is also a licensed SLP in the state of Arizona. Her clinical interests include early language development, childhood apraxia of speech, and literacy. Natalie and her husband, Darren, have five children (the oldest of whom is a new SLP!). In her free time, Natalie enjoys running, crocheting, and learning ways to be more eco-friendly. She feels every child deserves to have their words heard, and loves seeing their confidence grow as they learn to communicate more effectively.

Our LCSW, Crystal McCown has started scheduling this week for intake appointments and therapy visits. She will start seeing patients on Monday, July 12th. If your child or your family need her services, please call our office for an appointment. She sees children with behavioral issues, teens with anxiety, depression, OCD symptoms, eating disorders, parents with post partum depression, and she does family therapy, too! If you need her, please see our information sheet and give our office a call!

Just two short months until our newest addition, Dr. Alina Boelman, joins the TVP Family. Dr. Boelman and most of our doctors are accepting new patients now. If you've had a great experience at Tanque Verde Pediatrics, tell your friends! Happy parents are our best referral source!

Our curbside check-in has helped us keep our patients healthy....but its not always perfect. If you have not gotten a call to come in the office within 5 minutes of arrival, please walk in to the front desk and we will help you there! Thank you!

We are now offering Pfizer Covid-19 vaccinations at well visits for your child 12 & up. If you would like to have your child get this recommended vaccine at their check up, please fill out this online consent and give our office a call to let us know in advance. Thank you!

New 2021-2022 AIA School Physical Forms

This year, there is a new section for parents to fill out regarding Covid-19 exposure and illness in your athlete. This needs to be filled out prior to coming to our office for your sports physical and we will sign it if your athlete is cleared to participate.
Even if your child did have Covid-19 disease (tested positive), she/he/they may participate in sports after medical clearance. More moderate disease may need an EKG or cardiology evaluation prior to clearance.

Due to the nature of these questionnaires, you need to bring the forms with you to the office completed and ready for signature. There will be a $5/form fee if we have to print them out and there is no guarantee they will be ready the day of your visit.

Please schedule now and avoid the summer rush! Avoid urgent cares for sports physicals and wellness checks, as there is so much more to be done than what they offer.
