“All American Cruise” Rolls Through Florence
The Florence Jeeps R Us Club
is pleased to announce that it is holding the
“All American Cruise”
Saturday July 3, in celebration of our Nation’s Independence. Supported by both Rhody Cruisers and Band of Brothers, the event is a short cruise similar to the Veteran’s Honor Cruise held last November in lieu of the annual Veterans Day Parade.
As a cruise, it will be open to vehicles only, not floats or walking entries. Vehicles are encouraged to be decorated with patriotic bunting, American Flags and Branch Service Flags; however, no commercial or political messaging will be allowed.
Staging takes place at 11:00 a.m. at the Florence Christian Church parking lot located at 1st and Ivy Streets in Florence. The cruise starts at 11:30 a.m. from there and will follow a route similar to the Veteran’s Honor Cruse going through Old Town, past Shorewood and Regency, and terminate at the parking lot of Cross Roads Assembly of God Church at 10th and Maple Streets. A short patriotic program will follow at 12:30. The Florence Siuslaw Lions Club food cart will also be on hand..
There is no pre-registration nor fee for this Cruise. Simply show up at the staging time and location and join us in honoring our Nation’s independence!
