I have a vendor who I pay a lot of money to each month. I think they are doing their job, but I never hear from them. Ever. No emails, no texts, no calls. It gets frustrating. I like staying in touch and learning from everyone. So much so that I am thinking of switching vendors, just because of this.
This is why I believe so much in email marketing, but even more in picking up the phone or even sending a holiday or get well gift. Let people know you care about them and remember who you they are. It can truly make a difference.
