SF Payette Strainer Update:

The outfitters and guides moved and secured the strainer tree to the right side (up current side) so no one will drift into it.  There is 40-50 feet of clearance to go through.  The Forest Service will still advise River Users to exercise caution and get out at Deer Creek Ramp before the Staircase Run section.

The Forest Service posted warnings of the hazard at our ramps upstream of Staircase Run.  Given the tree is still present in the river system, the USFS will keep the warning posted until they receive confirmation the tree has been fully removed.

Thanks to the Outfitters and Guides for the Heads up and strong work!
