Day X
- A limited series from The New York Times about the infiltration of the far right in the modern day German government and military.
- Excellent series so far, with the last two (episodes four and five) being downright scary.
Stuff You Should Know: Operation Mincemeat - How A Corpse Fooled the Nazis
- A true story of a secret operation in WW2 that is wild. Falls into the category of “you couldn’t make this up.”
- A dead man (non-soldier) was used to successfully fake out the nazi’s by dressing him up as an officer and implanting false information on him.
- I don’t know if this has been depicted in a movie, but it needs to exist.
99% Invisible: Mine!
- Looking at the world through the lens of ownership is way more interesting than I would have assumed.
- “There’s nothing more fundamental about ownership than realizing that ownership is just a storytelling battle.”
Short Wave: Loving Sally Ride
- “Tam O’Shaughnessy and Sally Ride, the first American woman to fly in space, shared a passion for getting girls involved in STEM.”
- “Tam gives us an intimate look at their decades-long partnership: how they met and fell in love, the pressures they faced as a queer couple, and their long-awaited and public coming out with Sally’s death in 2012.”
- After recently watching the Apple original series “For All Mankind”, there is no way the Ellen Waverly character wasn’t influenced by the story of Sally Ride.

OTHER LINKS TO MAKE YOU THINK
For fun: Remove cat before flight
For fun 2: Barking cat gets caught (Yes two cat videos I know. But I’m not ashamed to admit to spending an embarrassing amount of time looking at cat videos. It’s for making the kids laugh, I swear).
