We need your vote

National MGMA has updated its Chapter Affiliation Agreement which required us to align our membership categories with Texas MGMA and national MGMA.  The same individuals who always have been members may remain members.  It simply collapses some categories into broader designations.  For example, “CMPE” and “FACMPE” membership categories now are part of “Active Member.”  It changes nothing about your certification or fellowship.  Revised categories will now include

• Active or Regular Member (incorporating CMPE, FACMPE)
• Removes Faculty, Honorary, Inactive
• Clarifies the definition of a Student Member to read, “An individual who is pursuing a healthcare or business-related degree at an accredited institution of higher learning and does not qualify for any other member category.”
• Dues Structure
• Moves from calendar to anniversary year

How do you vote on the above change/update to the San Antonio MGMA bylaws?
