Introducing
Izabela Brudniak
Snr Soft Tissue Therapist
Joined the team on 2 July
Qualifications:
- BSc Physiotherapy
- MSc Physiotherapy
|
|
|
Originally from Poland with a Masters Degree in Physiotherapy (University of Rzeszow), Izabela will be an invaluable asset as we grow the business.
Her primary focus will be still be Soft Tissue Therapy but she has also already started undertaking further studies with us through NewMed Ltd in Pulsed ElectroMagnetic Field Therapy in order for us to expand that Service Offering going forward.
What was your motivation to embark on this career path?
"I decided to study Physiotherapy because of my hobby – dancing. As a dancer I was injured quite often and spend lot of time having physiotherapy treatments and I had been fascinated with physiotherapy ever since that moment. I decided I wanted to work with people and help them the same way someone helped me.
Studying gave me a lot of theoretical and practical knowledge...whilst getting my BSc in Physiotherapy, I received practical experience in hospital wards such as: rehabilitation, pulmonary, orthopaedics (for adults and children), as well as physical therapy.
When getting my MSc, I worked with children with postural defects and obesity related issues, as well as on orthopaedic and neurological wards for adults.
My work in the hospitals gave me a wide variety of practical experience because of the opportunity to work with different patients, types of diseases and physical injuries.
In Poland I worked with professionals much like Restoring Health and I'm looking forward to doing the same in the UK. I'm excited for the opportunity to gain knowledge and learn with the team."

Introducing
Genevieve Koellner
Snr Soft Tissue Therapist
Joining the team in September 2021
(subject to pending Sponsorship and Visa applications)
Qualifications:
- BA in Sport Psychology
- BA Honours in Sport Science
- BHSc Honours in Biokinetics
- MSc Med in Sports and Exercise Science
|
|
|
All the way from South Africa with a Masters Degree in Biokinetics (WITS University, Johannesburg), Genevieve will be adding a host of new skills to our multidisciplinary team of professionals.
Her primary focus will be Soft Tissue Therapy but also with a combination of Exercise Prescription through Orthopaedic Rehabilitation our Bespoke Exercise Studio will be utilised to its full potential.
What was your motivation to embark on this career path?
"My motivation was to always be in a sports related career. Through my journey of studying, I completed my Honors degree in Sport science where I realised that I was more interested in Biokinetics and the rehabilitation aspect of it.
I live a very active lifestyle and I personally strive off of helping people whether it be injury related or emotional. I have learnt that the more challenging a patient the more satisfaction it would give me once helping them. I am an extrovert with a calming personality and therefore, a career involving human interaction was a no-brainer.
Now my dream is becoming a reality and I am so grateful for this opportunity that I’ve been given. I can’t wait to join the Restoring Health Ltd family and begin the journey of helping people through rehabilitation."
